Inserts and mold maintenance
Wear zones go into inserts; planned maintenance protects series runs.
Inserts isolate wear or frequent-revision zones from the main body. Gates, logos, threads or fine ribs move to replaceable pieces and extend tool life.
Heat treatment, coatings and steel grade set insert life. Glass fill and high packing accelerate wear.
Planned maintenance: flush cooling, lubricate ejectors, check parting lines and scan for surface damage. Short checks between lots; deeper service after long stops.
At Bayplas, maintenance scope (clean, revise, re-T0) is clear at quote time; critical dims are logged.
